///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //WELCOME TO A .TXT FILE. LOGS HAVE TO BE .TXTs OR ELSE THEY DONT FLOAT// //slashes are fun\\\\\\\\/\/\/\/\/\\\////\\/\\/\////\/\/\\\\m//-^.^-\\m// //CLICK your browser "Back" buttons to escape to the Internet ===// 27/4/08: this will maybe hopefully be the last log entry in text document-and-upload form, if everything goes ok. this is because dennis has written in php, guavascreept and css, a minimal journal system, with a browser submission form for new entries. i might even be able to put pictures in, who knows... anyway, it should replace this site log for most purposes, but this file will remain on the server in the same place. the journal will appear on [index.php] which directly replaces [index.html]. 22/4/08: wrote [targa08.html] which is self-explanitory in content, and added some text to [FragPVC.html]. and consequently added a lot of images and a video to the site. 20/4/08: testing a new 3d veiwer for Blender / E-media work, adding large PVC pipe rocket [FragPVC.html] and thinking about scanning photography series in - alone in the dark, the colour pinholes, misc others. and maybe some sounds. and maybe a styled page fed by a TXT file, possibly this one. 24/3/08: wrote [moon4.html] that brings us nearly up-to-date... 22/3/08: its easter, and i havent updated shit because i've been "busy" however new objectives will include finishing the moon launch series, updating the micro motors, revising the site layout, making it googleable, putting up photography and e-media work and related stuff, and turning this site from a repository or a irregular and rocket-centric diary into a library, a gallery, an archive, a directory... maybe even a bit of a jounrnal in there somewhere - a home page. well that sounds nice, now whos going to do it? 20-22/2/08: i need to keep this thing up-to-date. i've been working on my blender scene, and finally got the main character mesh rigged with IK. i'll have to make a page for blender and 3d stuffs, renders, etc. as a bit of a DONT SAY THE B WORD.. ah, journal. the PVC rocket was launched for the 3rd time, with the binary moon motor, and documented at [PVC3.html] i also wrote [moon3.html], the concern of which is self-explanatory. and this site is now google-able, or at least this .TXT is ><. 18-19/2/08: wrote [PVC.html] to fill in the story. god im tired right now. g'nite. 13/2/08: little PVC rocket was launched for the second time today, also testing a new motor [need to modify [tiptech.html] to reflect this]. i wrote a page documenting it [PVC2.html] but i need one for the original rocket and its first launch [called [PVC.html]]. all embedded videos need their heights set to +10px and autoplay="false" controller="true" pluginspage="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/" added, and closed with / instead of a close-tag. 12/2/08: launch rained off, tides unfavourable. 11/2/08: finished "lila". started to write about destination moon, the big green rocket. wrote first page [moon.html] and will write about subsequent launches later. assembled a 2-phase motor today, LAUNCHING IT tommorrow weather permitting. Nutsak graciously offered me 1.5gigs of space here on deadbored.net, a 200% increase. rock out for nix bux! need to finish [PVAputty.html] with pix and other pages w/ vidz y0. 10/2/08: the last few days have seen a "return to form" as my tutor once put it to exciting results and functional developments from my rocket research. i wrote [tiptech.html] about my variation of aluminium-tube micro-motors and made [stubby.html] a sub-page of [fizz.html]. still pending is a page or pages on the various "destination: moon" launches, and the construction, launch and re-construction of the little PVC pipe rocket. i saw a programme on ABC TV about photography from an early "is it art?" perspective, which was exactly what i needed [thanks mum] and very much like attending a 2nd year lecture. after developing a certain anxiety over the approaching penultimate photography semester, i now have a host of ideas to explore. i want colour, but i want detail and sharpness, but i was democratic depth of field as well. but most of all, i want to see the unexpected in the pictures i take. i want to see what the camera comes up with this time. also i need to sort out my theory subjects before its on top of me, and make some more progress on that blender animation project =) 26/01/08: after a short.. ok longish break i made a page about the recent bushfire [burn_08.html]. watching "Heart of Darkness" on tao's big screen gave me the idea of making a photographic series with scary shadows. on reflection that sounds silly, which is good seeing as i am silly. im not all that fond of dark-n-scary but theres nohard and fast reason why i cant have freindly welcoming shadow monsters, come to think of it. a bit of a re-think for the structure of this website is in order i think, maybe based on small images but thats arduous, maybe just a different approach to organising the pages, whatever they might be and however they might appear. its 4 AM on the next day now so good night web site :) 8/01/08: i finished writing PVAputty.html, about using putty for nozzles. i also played around with the CSS a bit to make things not overlap and be horrible. its warm today and my teeth hurt. i need to assemble a 20mm rocket motor with some iron oxide in the propellant and test it. websites are confusing. 7/1/08: i wrote or at least started writing a page outlining some early milestones in making rockets fly - 'rockets go fizz' [fizz.html] i also started to write about the 'stubby' test motor, which was the first one to fly. fizz.html needs finishing [few pics and links] 6/1/08: i started to make the first pages [index, css,] of a site i got the webspace ages ago from PC PowerPlay forum member Nutsak, with the idea of using it for whatever and at some point hosting a website here. i used it to host a few files and then a couple of E-Media 'journal' websites, so this is my first non-compulsary website =O
